Our Story

In 1953, James W. Seaver found himself out of work when Camfield Manufacturing relocated its manufacturing and finishing operations. Finishing was what James knew, so he decided to go into business for himself. He started in the basement, then moved to the garage. The garage eventually became a plant, and a one-man operation became a family finishing business that has now spent more than 70 years doing this one thing exceptionally well.
